AUGUST MOMENT OF MISSION

TeresaNews0 Comments

1 in 5 children go to bed hungry each day. We want to change that in Cullman.

There are a good many children in Cullman City Schools who received reduced or free lunches.

The qualifications for receiving this assistance is determined by family size and income as it relates to Federal Poverty Guidelines.

But what happens after the last bell on Friday?
Do these kids and families have enough to eat?

How Can I Help?

Some of the ways people can serve:
Monthly Shoppers – Please sign up for Knapsacks for Kids – here’s how it works in 1 easy step:
Email: Melissa Betts and she will get you plugged in where we have a need.

More Ways to Help

Weekly Packers – Follow the same procedure for Monthly Shoppers above.
Food or Monetary Donations – We are always on the lookout for individual packaged items: Juice boxes, shelf stable milk, meal cups (mac and cheese, ravioli, etc), and fresh fruit. You may drop off items at the Venture Hub in the designated bins.
