GET READY FOR OUR NEW VOLUNTEER APP

We have a very exciting announcement to make, and we’ve been incredibly encouraged. We’re convinced we have a church full of people passionate about the Great Commandment and Great Commission, but sometimes we’re stuck, and don’t know HOW to put our faith into action. That’s why we signed up for a brand new technology platform called VOMO that is going to help our church serve better, both inside and outside of our walls.

HEALING HANDS SUMMER SERMON SERIES

Throughout the month of July, we encounter stories in the gospel readings that focus on the healing power of Jesus. In the gospel of Mark, large crowds of people were drawn to Jesus to find healing. What did de do? He healed them; he fed them; he cared for each one.

PRAYING OUR WAY FORWARD

How can we show God’s great love and mercy to one another as we make decisions? As we move closer to the special-called session of General Conference, we invite all UMC members, across the denomination to pray and ask for God’s guidance.

A WAY FORWARD

As United Methodists, our foundation is a theology of grace, hearts warmed by the Holy Spirit, and an open table at Communion. We are the people of the “extreme center,” balancing faith and works, conversion and social justice, the centrality of Scripture with tradition, reason, and experience. Holding to our central foundation of grace, we can remain one church and allow space for a variety of opinions; which in some ways Methodists always have. As John Wesley state, we can “think and let think.” Read more and find resources on our Way Forward…
