As a continued effort of our financial communication, the next two “Expense” categories in our monthly financial report will be further explained so you are more aware of how your tithes and contributions are equipping us to change lives. The category titled “Evangelism & Member Development” ($10,500 budgeted annually) is utilized to cover the expenses associated with the church’s communication and outreach. These include the radio ministry, advertising, and visitor gifts. These funds are also utilized to cover expenses for laity training. The category titled “Missions” ($7,500 budgeted annually) is utilized to cover expenses associated with our many mission programs supported both locally and globally. These include such areas as Hispanic Ministry, Knapsack Program, Food Bank, Christian Assistance, UMCOR, etc.
