We have a very exciting announcement to make, and we’ve been incredibly encouraged. We’re convinced we have a church full of people passionate about the Great Commandment and Great Commission, but sometimes we’re stuck, and don’t know HOW to put our faith into action. As we enter a new season of growth, the church leadership believes adjusting the Sunday Schedule will allow us to better fulfill our mission to reach people and change lives! We’re excited to see how God uses these new times to multiply our efforts in caring for each other, reaching new people, and changing lives in our community and beyond!
As United Methodists, our foundation is a theology of grace, hearts warmed by the Holy Spirit, and an open table at Communion. We are the people of the “extreme center,” balancing faith and works, conversion and social justice, the centrality of Scripture with tradition, reason, and experience. Holding to our central foundation of grace, we can remain one church and allow space for a variety of opinions; which in some ways Methodists always have.
